Outlets from Ten Provinces Selected to Attend Thanks to Support from Google News Initiative
Media Party, Latin America’s largest media innovation conference, confirmed the attendance of regional outlets from Argentine provinces with travel expenses covered thanks to the Google News Initiative. Media Party is a gathering of more than 2,500 participants taking place from August 25 to 27 at Ciudad Cultural Konex in Buenos Aires, Argentina. It brings together top minds in media and technology to accelerate global innovation, creating a unique space for regional exchange and collaboration. Selection was made from over 90 applications nationwide.
Born out of Hacks/Hackers Buenos Aires, this three-day conference will bring together leaders from major outlets like Vox Media, The Washington Post, The Wall Street Journal, The Guardian, and the International Center for Journalists with the regional media ecosystem and communities of journalists and developers.
In 2022, Media Party will focus on audiences, digital products, and monetization, alongside key topics like artificial intelligence, blockchain, automation, and fake news. Selected participants will be able to attend over 20 keynote lectures led by global experts, discover innovative experiences from media outlets worldwide, train in diverse workshops, and build stories, tools, or digital products during the hackathon… and much more!
Media Party is an independent event created by the Hacks/Hackers Buenos Aires community, with strategic support from Hacks/Hackers global, Meta, and ICFJ, among others.
