Selected Projects
A hybrid training program for journalists from Argentina, Bolivia, Mexico, and Ecuador, powered by Media Party and the World Bank.
The Regional Training Program in Data and Narratives, a strategic initiative driven by Media Party and the World Bank, formally announces the projects selected for its 2026 edition. This fund is structured to finance investigative journalism that translates databases and development indicators into high-impact coverage.
Following an exhaustive evaluation process of 23 competitive proposals from various newsrooms across Latin America, the jury prioritized projects demonstrating methodological rigor, technical innovation in crossing global variables, and deep relevance to their local contexts. The four leading teams now begin an incubation phase that will culminate in their presentation at Media Party Buenos Aires 2026, supported by a USD 1,000 grant.
