We are pleased to introduce the four winning projects of the Narratives + Data Regional Training Program, a joint initiative by Media Party and the World Bank. This program is designed to boost data-driven investigative journalism aimed at creating high-impact stories.
Excellence and Regional Commitment
We celebrate the enthusiastic participation and the high quality of the results. Media Party extends a special thanks to all the individuals and teams who took part in this call for proposals.
We received a total of 23 exceptional projects, standout for the power of their storytelling, the rigor of their data research, and their ability to raise questions that reflect the diverse realities of Latin America across multiple dimensions.
The four selected teams represent deep investigations into their respective contexts. Hailing from media outlets in Argentina, Bolivia, Ecuador, and Mexico, the winners now enter an incubation and mentorship phase to develop their stories for publication and presentation at Media Party Buenos Aires 2026.
Each winning team will receive a US$ 1,000 microgrant provided by the World Bank to support their investigation.
