20 media professionals from 9 Argentine provinces will travel to Buenos Aires to participate in Media Party, thanks to support from the Google News Initiative.
For the second consecutive year, thanks to support from the Google News Initiative, media professionals from Argentina’s provinces will travel to Buenos Aires to attend Media Party, taking place from October 5 to 7 at Ciudad Cultural Konex.
For over 10 years, Media Party has brought together more than 2,000 journalists, designers, programmers, activists, and entrepreneurs annually to accelerate innovation on a global scale, creating a unique space for exchange and collaboration across the region.
The open call was announced on mediaparty.org, drawing applications from more than 100 media outlets between September 8 and 13. The selection was conducted jointly by Media Party and the Google News Initiative, prioritizing small and medium-sized outlets that are innovating or exploring new technologies.
The selected professionals will have their travel and lodging costs covered to fully participate in all event activities. They will have the opportunity to connect directly with local and international leaders who will share their expertise, learn how to tell new stories, build better news products, connect effectively with audiences, and diversify media revenue streams.
