The International Fund for Public Interest Media (IFPIM) and the Media Development Investment Fund (MDIF), in partnership with Media Party, will host pitch sessions in the Gran Sala at Konex. During these sessions, Latin American media outlets will present their projects and business plans, and receive feedback from a panel of experts.
The objective of this activity is for participating outlets to get to know these organizations, their missions, and criteria, as well as the differences in securing a grant versus an investment.
Following an open call and a selection process, the media outlets chosen to participate in the sessions are:
- La Nueva Mañana — Consuelo Cabral
- Otra Economía — Florencia Tuchin
- El Estilo Libre — Rocío Caro Pacello
- Disversa — Andrea Medina
- IRÉ Información Regional
- Radiocut — Gabriela Díaz
Each outlet will have 15 minutes in total to present their pitch, ask questions, and receive feedback on their presentation.
We are incredibly grateful for the applications from all the media outlets that applied to this open call.
